SEPTEMBER 1, 2023
Madrasa first day will be Saturday, September 16, 2023.
New applications are open as of Friday August 25, 2023, InshaAllah.
Parents are required to stay for an overview program on the first day (September 16th).
Our Madrasa Program
Our children are the future inheritors of the earth. Educating them to be steadfast Muslims with good morals, being kind to others, and positive contributors to society is important to us at Masjid As-Siddiq.
For a period of 5 years, our program is designed for students to:
Be able to read the Qur'an fluently, per the rules of tajweed, memorizing at least 1 Juzz of the Qur'an.
Know all the relevant aspects of fiqh concerning Taharah (cleanliness), Salaah (prayer), Saum (fasting), Hajj (pilgrimage), Zakaah (obligatory charity), etc.
Understand and be able to apply varying relevant areas such as: Aqeedah (belief), Hadith (sayings and practices of Prophet Muhammad (), Adab (mannerisms), relevant dua’s (supplications), Islamic History (life of prophets, life of compan-ions and pious predecessors.)
Enjoy recreational activities at the Masjid and incorporate games and other activities in an Islamic environment as part of the curriculum.
