The Qur’an, the very word of Allah ﷻ, is our ultimate guide for life on earth. Revealed over 1,400 years ago to our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, it provides us with history, context, rules, wisdom, and timeless inspiration for our daily lives. We recite it in every prayer, five times a day, as a constant reminder of its central role in our faith. Its importance—and our duty to recite it, memorize it, and understand it—cannot be overstated.
At Masjid As-Siddiq, we encourage every parent to help their children connect deeply with the Qur’an. Our Qur’an classes are designed to guide students step by step: Our Qur’an Recitation and Ḥifẓ Program is designed to:
Teach students to recognize, pronounce, and read Qur’ānic Arabic correctly.
Develop fluency with tajwīd.
Guide students through the journey of memorization of the Qur’an at a steady and structured pace.
These classes not only build the skills of recitation and memorization, but also nurture a bond with the Book of Allah ﷻ that lasts a lifetime.
